My History

I embarked on my karate journey in 2001, and it has been a remarkable adventure ever since. In 2005, I participated in the National Games for the first time, achieving a significant milestone by winning the gold medal. However, it was in 2004 when I had the life-changing opportunity to receive extensive training from a Japanese trainer, thanks to JICA. The months of rigorous training under his guidance significantly honed my skills and shaped my perspective on the sport.

The pride I feel from that experience remains with me to this day. It's a source of great honor for me to be the only female karateka from Chittagong district to have secured a gold medal in the National Games. This achievement serves as both a personal triumph and a testament to the hard work and dedication I've poured into my passion for karate.

My journey with the Bangladesh Ansar team began in 2011 when I joined as a karate player. Over the years, my role within the team has evolved, and I am now honored to serve as both a player and an assistant coach. Representing the team in these dual capacities has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for me.

As an assistant coach, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge, skills, and experiences with the team, while still actively participating as a player. This dual role not only brings me immense joy but also fills me with a profound sense of pride.

I am deeply grateful for the chance to contribute to the team's success in multiple ways. Looking ahead, I am excited about continuing this journey with the Bangladesh Ansar team, and I am committed to helping the team achieve even greater heights in the future.

Winning the Best Player Award twice has been one of the most memorable highlights of my karate journey. I first received this honor at the 1st Invitation International Karate and Kickboxing Championship in 2007, and then again at the 8th NSKA International Karate Championship in 2014. These awards are not just trophies; they symbolize years of hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training.

Another proud moment came in 2023 when I became the first girl from Bangladesh to win a bronze medal in Karate Kumite at the USA Miami Open Karate Championship. Standing on that podium was an incredible feeling, knowing I was representing my country on an international stage. This achievement is a testament to the perseverance and resilience that karate has instilled in me.
